Windows at the Pav!

The Pavilion is starting to take shape, literally! Over the past week, our construction team has been carefully installing the first frames, and it’s incredible to see the building start to take on its future form. For the first time, the Pavilion is beginning to open up to the natural light and those beautiful harbour views that make this spot such an iconic part of Wellington.

Each window has been designed to complement the Pavilion’s heritage character while introducing the warmth, brightness, and energy of modern architecture. It’s these details, the perfect blend of old and new, that make this redevelopment so special.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but moments like this remind us how far we’ve come. The Pavilion used to be nothing but wide open spaces looking straight out to the waterfront, so we’re sure the boys on site are enjoying a bit of extra shelter from our Wellington wind!

Seeing everything start to come together is just as exciting for us as it is for the community who’ve been following along. We can’t wait to share more as the Pavilion continues to evolve into a vibrant space for everyone to enjoy!
